Update

Hello everyone! Since my last post, I have changed my site placement. I am now at a nonprofit called Amextra. They are a five-branched organization that does things from distribution of goods, to the accompaniment of workers and small interest loans to fund people who need to get a business under their feet. They receive funding from the ELCA and other organizations. I have been given the responsibility of making videos for them. I think that what I enjoy the most is how we have a bible study reflection every Tuesday morning. I think that through these group conversations, I really get to know everyone a lot better. My Spanish has also reached a point where I can communicate enough to understand what is going on in these meetings and to be able to participate. I am going to try and lead one on the 28th of April (we will see how that goes). So far, I have only been here one week. Everyone is really friendly and eager to help. There is a Baptist pastor that works here and we have had fun theological conversations. I have enjoyed getting to know the corporate culture.
